Midland Diving recently worked with our friends at Scuba Pursuits to make diving dreams come true for one lucky winner of the 2011 Scholarship programme.
£2000-worth of Beuchat equipment was donated to the winner, Ben Webster, who will feature in Sport Diver magazine as he earns his professional diving qualifications in Beuchat gear.

An Air On/Air Off indicating handwheel from Midland Diving Equipment
The Vindicator handwheel has been designed to be a simple retrofit handle to all the most popular makes of valve. There are seven handles in the range, and each one is designed with precision to ensure a perfect fit. The innovative design shows the diver – at a glance – if the air is on, partially on, or in worst case scenarios completely off. This is achieved by a simple system of red and green rings which show when the handle is turned.
Midland Diving Equipment has obtained the European distribution rights to the Vindicator handle, and we are now holding stock.

MDE’s Mark Humphreys pens an article for Airgun Sport
The editor of Airgun Sport asked Midland Diving, the experts in high pressure air and Airgun Charging equipment, for a writeup on the kit available, how to use it and the rules that apply to our industry.
The four page story is featured in Issue 3, April 2010, covering topics such as safe filling practise, the often-confusing 5-year test, and advice on how not to clean your overalls!
The article was penned by our own Mark Humphreys, Technical Sales Manager at MDE, drawing on his three years’ experience of dealing with daily technical enquiries and occasional comical questions about the strange things airgunners try to do with their PCP kit!

It has been a great week making new industry contacts and seeing their interest in MDE and our products. Our low-profile, high quality diving valve range proved a hit with visitors, particularly those specialising in cave diving. We can also announce that one of DEMA’s ‘must-have’ products, the Vindicator valve handle, is now a Midland Diving exclusive in the UK! We will have more news on this soon.
Feedback from the show was very positive – it was great to exhibit at DEMA and people were glad to see us there too. Thanks to everyone who stopped by.
